To improve our service for everyone, we use de-identified data from your usage — especially on the Free plan — to train and improve our models. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ChongCheck website, mobile applications, browser extensions, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by ChongCheck OÜ ("ChongCheck", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, clicking "I agree," or using the Service in any way, you ("you", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, AI Training & Research Data Notice, and Veterinary Medical Disclaimer, each of which is incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
ChongCheck analyzes pet-health information (laboratory results, photos, owner-reported symptoms) using a panel of artificial-intelligence "specialists" that debate, cross-validate, and produce a structured second-opinion report. The Service includes:
The Service is informational and educational. It is not, and shall not be construed as, the practice of veterinary medicine.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract under applicable law. The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at privacy@chongcheck.app.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
For certain features (e.g., the Vet portal), we may require proof of professional licensure or clinic ownership. Providing false credentials terminates your access immediately and may be reported to authorities.
You may not maintain multiple personal accounts to circumvent Free-plan limits.
The Free Plan includes a limited number of consilium analyses per calendar month (currently 1 analysis per month) and a subset of features. The Free Plan exists only because we are able to use de-identified data from your usage to train and improve our models. This is described in detail in Section 8 ("Data Sharing & AI Training") and in our AI Training & Research Data Notice.
By using the Free Plan you acknowledge and agree that:
Paid Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor Heleket Ltd. Plans include unlimited consilium analyses, Glass-Box replay, Adversary review, PetCard, and other features detailed at chongcheck.app/pricing.
On a Paid Plan, research-data sharing remains opt-in only. You may keep it on (and we welcome the contribution) or turn it off in Settings → Privacy without losing any feature. Turning it off does not reduce your subscription fee, because the value of the Paid Plan is the features, not the data contribution.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time in Settings → Subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on new Paid Plan subscriptions. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law (e.g., the EU 14-day right of withdrawal, which applies if you have not yet substantially used the Service). See our Refund & Subscription Policy for details.
We may change prices on at least 30 days' written notice (email to your registered address) before the next renewal. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Where required, VAT, GST, or sales tax will be added at checkout.
"Your Content" means everything you upload or submit to the Service: laboratory results, photographs, owner-reported symptoms, free-text notes, outcome wizard answers, and your pet's profile data.
You retain all rights you have in Your Content. We do not claim ownership of it.
By submitting Your Content, you grant ChongCheck a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process, analyze, redact, and de-identify Your Content solely for the following purposes:
This license terminates for raw Your Content when you delete your account (subject to Section 13). De-identified derivatives created under valid consent prior to deletion may continue to exist in our research corpus under the GDPR Article 89 scientific-research exception, unless you specifically request their deletion via "Full erasure including research contribution" — see Section 13.
You represent that (a) you have the right to submit Your Content, and (b) it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any law.
Do not upload photographs containing identifiable third parties without their consent. Our redaction pipelines focus on textual personal data and do not perform face recognition or removal.
The Service, its underlying code, machine-learning models, prompts, design system, documentation, and all related content (other than Your Content) are owned by ChongCheck or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not:

Use of the Service is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits, among other things:

Important — Free Plan users: the Free Plan is supported by your contribution of de-identified data. By using the Free Plan you consent to ChongCheck using de-identified derivatives of your submissions to: - Train, fine-tune, and evaluate ChongCheck's proprietary AI models; - Produce aggregated, k-anonymous reports for academic, pharmaceutical, and clinical partners; - Build statistical baselines, breed-specific reference ranges, and outcome-prediction features; - Internally research patterns in pet health. What we share with partners is always aggregated, statistical, and k-anonymous (groups of at least 5 records). We never share row-level, identifiable, or raw data with partners. You can withdraw this consent at any time in Settings → Privacy. Doing so prevents new submissions from entering the research corpus but does not remove past contributions (which are already pseudonymized). For full removal of past contributions, use the "Delete everything, including my research contribution" option (Section 13).
Paid Plan users have research-data sharing turned off by default at signup if you so choose; it is fully opt-in and you may toggle it at any time without affecting features or pricing.

User, pet, and case identifiers are transformed into deterministic pseudonyms via HMAC-SHA256 with a secret key held only by ChongCheck. Without this key, re-identification is not feasible.
ChongCheck does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do receive remuneration from pharmaceutical and academic partners for aggregated, k-anonymous reports, which under GDPR / CCPA / 152-FZ do not constitute personal data.
The Service relies on third-party providers ("Subprocessors") to deliver functionality. The current list — including each provider's role, location, and data category — is maintained at chongcheck.app/legal/subprocessors. By using the Service you consent to data transfers to these Subprocessors under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, Data Processing Agreements).
We give 30 days' notice before adding or changing material Subprocessors that process personal data.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. See Section 13 for the deletion flow.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
Where possible, we will give reasonable advance notice. In case of serious breach, we may terminate immediately.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution) survive.
ChongCheck is not a veterinary clinic. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease. Output of the Service is informational only and is not a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed veterinarian. In an emergency (suspected poisoning, severe trauma, persistent vomiting, respiratory distress, collapse, seizure), contact a veterinary emergency service immediately. Do not wait for the Service's response.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
ChongCheck does not warrant that the AI consilium's output is correct, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose. Any reliance on the Service is at your sole risk.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You have the following rights:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
(a) ChongCheck, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, loss of business, or any damages arising from medical decisions made in reliance on the Service.
(b) Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) EUR 100 (one hundred euros).
(c) Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ChongCheck and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
You may bring a dispute before the courts of your country of residence; we may bring proceedings against you only in your country of residence. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration body in Tallinn, Estonia, in English, except where local law requires otherwise. Class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law.
Before any formal proceeding, please contact legal@chongcheck.app to attempt informal resolution within 60 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to your registered address and via in-app banner at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you object to a material change, you may close your account during the notice period for a pro-rated refund.
