What this document is: the User Agreement is the consumer-friendly companion to the Terms of Service. It is written in plain English and summarizes, in a single place, what you can expect from ChongCheck and what we expect from you. Where this document differs from the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail for legal purposes, but we work hard to keep both consistent.
When you create an account on ChongCheck:
You submit pet info (lab values, photos, symptoms). Our system runs an AI consilium of up to 7 "specialists" (hematologist, biochemist, nephrologist, etc.), a Chief Diagnostician who synthesizes, a Cross-Validator, an Adversary (devil's advocate), and a Consensus Validator. You get a structured report.
Every result includes a timeline that shows which specialist said what, where they cited evidence, and how the chief reached the verdict. This is transparency. We do not hide behind a "black box."

After your case, we ask: "Did you visit the vet? What did they say?" This loop is the heart of how we improve — and it is also why your contribution as a Free Plan user is valuable.
If you opt in, your case can be reviewed by a licensed veterinarian via our B2B portal. This is a paid feature, separate from the Free Plan.
Provide accurate pet data and lab values. Garbage in → garbage out.
Do not use the Service to submit data about humans, abusive content, illegal content, or content you do not have the right to submit.
Free Plan users get a limited number of consilium analyses per month. Don't create multiple accounts to bypass the limit.
If you subscribe, pay on time. Our processor Heleket handles the actual money flow.
Don't attack our systems, scrape our outputs to build a competitor, or try to extract our prompts and models.
We aim for high uptime (target: ≥99.5%). If we have an incident, we publish it on status.chongcheck.app and notify affected users.
We tell you which AI providers we use (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google AI, Groq). We tell you which of your data goes to which provider. We do not pretend a result is human-reviewed when it isn't.
Strong encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit), strict access controls, audit logs, pseudonymization of identifiers in the research corpus.
You will not be surprised. The Free Plan trade-off (features for de-identified data contribution) is disclosed at signup, in our Terms of Service §4.1 and §8, in our Privacy Policy §7, and in the dedicated AI Training & Research Data Notice.
Export your data within 30 days (Settings → Export). Delete your account, with two scopes (personal-only or full including research). 24-hour grace window. Cancellation token mailed to you. Done in 30 days.
We want this to be impossible to miss, so here it is in its own section.
What the Free Plan really is. You get 1 consilium analysis per month at no monetary cost. In exchange, we use a de-identified, pseudonymized, bucketed derivative of what you submitted to train and improve our AI models, and we may include those derivatives in aggregated reports we sell to pharmaceutical and academic partners. What is in those derivatives? Things like: breed slug ("labrador_retriever"), age band ("24-60 months"), country code ("US"), lab marker codes and numeric values, AI specialists' findings, what the vet eventually diagnosed (if you tell us via the outcome wizard). What is not in those derivatives? Your name, your email, your pet's name, your phone, your address, your IP address, your photos, your payment data, or the raw text you typed into free-form fields (all redacted in two passes — regex + LLM — before anything leaves your case). What goes to partners? Aggregated, k-anonymous statistics, never row-level data. k-anonymous means we only include groups of at least 5 records, so you can't be picked out of a crowd. Can you opt out? Yes. Settings → Privacy → toggle off "Share de-identified data for research." This stops future submissions from being added to the corpus. To also remove past contributions, choose "Full erasure" in Settings → Delete Account. Does opting out unlock paid features? No. The Free Plan is the Free Plan in terms of features; the research-data contribution is what makes it sustainable to keep offering at zero monetary cost.
This is the entire deal. There is no hidden term. There is no "we changed our mind in a small-print update" — material changes are announced 30 days in advance and require re-consent if they expand the scope of processing.

We're really serious about this. ChongCheck is not a veterinarian. We do not diagnose. We do not prescribe. In an emergency (collapse, seizure, severe trauma, suspected poisoning, respiratory distress), stop reading this and call an emergency vet.
AI gets things wrong sometimes. We design with safety in mind — multiple specialists, a Cross-Validator, an Adversary, and a Consensus Validator — but no system is perfect. Sanity-check every result against your pet's actual condition and your veterinarian's professional opinion.
We do face redaction on free text but not on photos. Don't upload photos that include identifiable third parties without their permission.
Some features (Vet portal, certain payment methods) are available only in specific countries. We expand as we go.

We try to resolve informally first. Write to legal@chongcheck.app and we will respond within reasonable time. If we cannot resolve, see the Terms of Service §16 for governing law and dispute resolution.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable law. Where possible, we give notice. In serious cases (security, abuse, fraud, court order), we may terminate immediately.
Material changes are announced by email and in-app banner at least 30 days before they take effect. If a change expands how we use your data, we will obtain fresh consent rather than rely on the old one.
You can always close your account during the notice period and receive a pro-rated refund of any pre-paid period.
